Meet Our Fort Collins, CO Veterinarians

Each of our vets brings a unique blend of skill, compassion, and dedication to their work, ensuring the best care for your pets. We’re honored to have these outstanding professionals as part of our family, ready to serve you and your pets with the utmost empathy and expertise.

Dr. Shufflebarger, DVM

Medical Director

From an early age, Dr. Shufflebarger knew that her love of animals would lead her to a career in veterinary medicine.  She grew up with dogs, and fostered many cats and kittens throughout veterinary school.  Despite being allergic to most animals, she was determined to pursue her dream.

Dr. Shufflebarger received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Colorado in Boulder, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.  She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2008 from Colorado State University, where she was a member of Phi Zeta Honor Society.  She practiced in Colorado Springs for six years, but was excited to return to Fort Collins, where she grew up.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially internal medicine, preventative wellness care, soft tissue surgery, and end-of-life issues.  She lives with her husband Jason, children Emery and Landon, cat Geek, and a German Shorthaired Pointer mix named Peyton (named after Manning of course).  She enjoys hiking, biking, tennis, and snowboarding

Dr. Foster, DVM

Animals have always been a big part of Dr. Foster’s life. She grew up in western Oregon where she was an active member of 4H and raised cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. She also grew up owning and showing Arabian horses on the breed circuit. Since she was a little girl, she has always wanted to be a veterinarian. After high school, she moved to Fort Collins to complete her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences at CSU. She moved back to her home state of Oregon to complete her veterinary medicine training and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University in her hometown of Corvallis, OR.

She took a job as a mixed animal Veterinarian on the western slope of CO in Grand Junction after graduation. Although she loved the variety of mixed animal practice, she eventually decided to make the move over the mountains to her favorite city of Fort Collins and settle down in small animal practice at Front Range Veterinary Clinic. She still has two horses, along with three cats and one dog.

Dr. Foster has special interests in small animal dentistry, behavior, and pain management. She is excited to be a part of the Front Range Veterinary family!

Dr. Albino, DVM

Dr. Albino was born in upstate New York but grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended both undergrad and veterinary school at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio (Go Buckeyes!). She was brought to Colorado for a one year long internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver following her graduation. She currently lives in Fort Collins with her significant other Kyle, who works in shelter medicine at Animal Friends Alliance and their tripod Husky Junior, Torbi Penelope and Orange Tabby Perry. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but special interests include feline medicine, cardiology and oncology. Her hobbies outside of veterinary medicine include working out at orange theory, horseback riding, hiking, and watching TV with her cats.

Dr. Beer, DVM

Dr. Beer received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Georgia. After 9 years in practice in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Beer and her family relocated to Fort Collins. Her professional interests include internal medicine, with an emphasis on endocrinology, and dermatology. Doctor Beer shares her home with her husband, three children, a retriever mix named Shiva, a German Shepherd puppy named Jolene, and Link the ginger tabby cat. She enjoys spending time outside and enjoying this beautiful state! She is thrilled to join the Front Range family!

Our Greatest Achievement

Happy Clients, Healthy Pets

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My Sheltie has been in thier care for 12 years , since a pup. Always attentive care from the front desk to the vets themselves. Chance has had some medical issues this year mostly related to aging, and the staff has been very helpful, and would call often after each visit to checkup on him, and consult.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Such great and friendly staff! My pup is scared of anyone and everyone, but she is always so happy to come in to see her friends here! They were more than accommodating for her special jaw needs, and made sure to spend extra time answering all of the questions I had. Thanks again Front Range!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We have been taking both of our dogs here for years since we adopted them. The staff has been friendly and responsive when we've had questions. The quality of care has been great!
